Busy moms, have no fear: the Tot Squad is here!

While attending the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, CEO and Founder Jennifer Beall came up with a concept that would help busy new parents maintain their work/family balance.

She wrote a business plan, entered the Kellogg Cup Business Plan Competition and won first prize. Soon after, she received the Student of the Year Award, which gave her the confidence she needed to make her idea reality.

The franchise began as CleanBeeBaby LLC in Los Angeles and re-branded itself in 2014 as Tot Squad. Currently, the company serves locations in Los Angeles, Orange County, New York City, and San Diego. Just recently, they have opened the sales of franchises with hopes of growing internationally, and perhaps globally.

So, exactly what does the Tot Squad do? As Beall stated in an interview with Business-Opportunities:

“Parents are incredibly busy these days and don’t want to spend what precious free time they do have scrubbing vomit from their stroller or trying to install a car seat correctly. Crazy enough, up to 90 percent of car seats are incorrectly installed … Tot Squad takes care of the dirty work and the hard tasks so that parents can be confident about their children’s health and safety.”

Parenting isn’t easy. It’s a full-time job. Tot Squad aims to help parents take a bit of a break from the less glamorous aspects of childcare. Pairing with retail locations like Babies “R” Us and Whole Foods, the company offers multiple services like stroller repair, car-seat installation and even cleaning.

Tot Squad offers services in retail settings. But the company also makes house calls. The company aims to be the best option for busy parents who need repairs done quickly. They vacuum, sanitize, detail and safely assemble and install car seats, strollers and more to leave them clean and baby-safe.

The team is ready and willing to clean just about anything, from strollers to high chairs to play yards and nearly any other baby gear you have. If your child has allergies or sensitivities, the Tot Squad say they can accommodate these conerns as well in their services.

Services are also available for parties and play dates. Why not have everyone’s dirty car seats cleaned while still being able to be there for all the fun?

Tot Squad is also environmentally friendly. The company touts its use of only non-toxic, natural, biodegradable products and rather than paper towels, washable cloth rags. By helping parents extend the lives of their baby gear, the company is able to keep it longer, then sell it or donate it.
