Renault is all set to launch Triber in India today. Renault Triber is a sub-4 metre seven-seater vehicle and has been designed for the Indian market. The bookings for the new Triber commenced on August 17 across the company dealerships for an initial amount of Rs 11,000. The one interesting fact about Triber is that it might be introduced at a starting price of Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom), which is quite low for a feature-loaded seven-seater vehicle.
Unveiled in India on June 19, Renault Triber will add to the carmaker’s portfolio that currently includes Kwid, 2019 Duster facelift, Captur and Lodgy. The seven-seater Triber is being produced at the company’s manufacturing facility in Chennai and will be available at Renault’s over 350 dealerships across the country.
Renault is claiming that Triber is a spacious and fuel-efficient vehicle and offers more than 100 different seat-configurations as well as industry-first Easyfix seats. Before Renault Triber is finally launched in India, below are all the details you need to know about it.

Expectations are that Renault Triber price in India will range between Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 7.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

The all-new Triber gets a sporty look upfront with features like triple edge chrome front grille, projector headlamps and LED DRLs circled in chrome and black headlamp masks. At the rear, one will find two-part eagle beak tail lamps. Other features include front and rear SUV skid plates, roof bars and black plastic wheel arch protections. Renault Triber comes with a modern cabin having dual-tone layout and features like fully digital LED instrument cluster, 8-inch MediaNav Evolution touchscreen system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, refrigerated central storage area and lower glove compartment, twin air conditioning system, start/stop button and hands-free card.

Powering Renault Triber is a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, petrol engine that makes 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque. The mill is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Triber is 3,990 mm long. The width and height measure 1,739 mm (without door mirrors) and 1,643 mm (without roof rails), respectively. The wheelbase is 2,636 mm. It comes with 182 mm ground clearance. In a 5-seater configuration, the new seven-seater vehicle boasts of a massive 625-litre boot, which drops to 320 litres in a 6-seater situation and 84 litres in a 7-seater condition.

So far as safety is concerned, Renault Triber gets features like ABS with EBD, 3-point belts in all rows, four airbags (driver, passenger, and front sides), rear parking sensors and reverse camera.
